Dorchester Babe Ruth

Overview

Dorchester Babe Ruth is a youth sports organization that provides a fun and rewarding baseball experience to community members aged 13-16 in Dorchester. Our goal is to enhance community building, self-esteem, and overall wellness of our players through the joy of baseball.

Our season officially starts on April 21st and ends June 16th (with no games Memorial Day weekend). Games are typically played in the evening on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays at Garvey Park.

Sundays will be used as rain make-up days. As a reminder, all players need to be registered before coming to spring training sessions.

Coaches Needed!

We are looking for a few volunteer coaches to help make our season run and offer a rewarding and fun experience for our players. If you are looking for a way to support your community through youth sports and have a passion for the game of baseball please reach out. We want this to be an enjoyable season for players and coaches alike. It is our policy to provide coaching coverage for any games that coaches may need to miss throughout the season.
